From my earliest days in Dabaso, the name A Rocha Kenya was synonymous with community impact and conservation efforts. Little did I know that   the young boy who was  fascinated by the organization’s work, would one day grow up to become a human resource officer. Coming back  to A Rocha Kenya in September 2023  felt  like coming full circle to the dream i had incubated since my childhood.

Joining A Rocha Kenya as an intern has exceeded my expectations. The work ethic engrained in the organization is not just a set of principles but a lived reality. As an intern, I’ve found a supportive community where everyone is dedicated to my growth. Surprisingly, I’ve had the privilege of learning from the national director, top managers, and colleagues who have welcomed me without judgment.

This journey has been more than fulfilling; it has been transformative. As I navigate this internship, I am continually inspired by the passion and commitment that define A Rocha Kenya. Each day brings new lessons, and I am determined to seize every opportunity for learning and personal development.I am grateful for the chance to contribute to A Rocha Kenya’s mission and am excited about the future as I continue to learn and grow within this exceptional organization.
