My name is Samson Sammy Katisho. I knew A Rocha Kenya In the year 2000 while i was still a butcherman at Turtlebay. In the year 2008 i studied an ornithology course at Nature Kenya and that is when i met Collin Jackson who got to share alot about A Rocha Kenya and its vision and mission towards restoration and conservation of threatened habitats.
I officially joined the team in the year 2016 as a volunteer at the Dakatcha Reserve and now i work with the Dakatcha Community and my roles revolves around research and community work. One big lesson that i have carried from A Rocha is always dedicating everything to God and solely put my hope in Christ.
During my free time i enjoy birdwatching and tour guiding.
